Daycare Activities Before and After School

Discover and Share has a daycare program for elementary school children before and after school and on holidays. Our school age program is designed around "interest centers" that children select themselves.

There are computers, Disco Dance Floor, Microsoft X-Box video game centers, arcade style video games, air hockey, Foosball tables, arts and crafts, art and writing center, reading center, music center, science center, large blocks, Space Maze, and also a home living center. Your child will be completely enthralled in entertainment in a well supervised environment. In addition, there is also a room to do homework where adults supervise the work.

We have a very large playground for the school age children. They may run, climb on climbing equipment, play on swings, and dig and build in the sand. They may play soccer, basketball, volleyball, tag football, dodge ball, soft ball, and other organized games.

School age children have the opportunity for small group activities and projects that promote peer-to-peer interaction. In these activity groups children learn to problem solve while participating in enviroments with social interaction, which will help them build valuable social skills.

Discover and Share's goal is to create an environment in which school age children can develop and maintain high self-esteem by having success with their activities while developing positive relationships and friendships.
